As play therapists, our primary focus is guiding children on their journey to discovering their most authentic selves. Through play, children can explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe and nurturing environment, fostering growth and resilience.
We weave together child-centered play therapy and synergetic play therapy, illuminated by the lens of neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology. This allows us to deeply connect with children and provide parents with insights into the science behind their child’s behaviors and emotions.
Our specialization involves addressing a range of concerns, encompassing depression/anxiety, behavioral issues, emotional regulation challenges, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem, child/parent relationship challenges, grief, and ADHD behaviors.
Recognizing the indispensable role parents and adults play in a child’s life, we are equally committed to helping parents reconnect with their inner child. In this shared journey, we empower them to become the best possible support systems for their children. Parenting, from our perspective, is a partnership, and we are here to facilitate that transformative journey together.
An educational foundation in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, combined with experience working across diverse settings—including inpatient hospitals for children, long-term residential care for adolescents, and private practice—led to the establishment of Esprit Counseling. As Esprit Counseling’s founder, I leverage diverse experiences to drive our commitment to transformative and professional support for all we serve.
